Matt McGinn & his Amazing Band Hilltown singer songwriter & producer, Matt McGinn, returns to Chandler’s House on Saturday April 14th, bringing with him his Amazing Band.Matt is currently celebrating the launch of his 6th album ‘Behind Every Door’. It was named Album of the Week on RTÉ Radio 1, and follows up ‘Time Well Spent’ that featured among others, Aoife Scott and Eliza Carthy. He is currently recording his next album featuring songs co-written with music legend, Paul Brady.With Matt are some of Ireland’s finest musicians. On Piano is Matt’s long time collaborator John McCullough who has been on the road with Van Morrison, and rubbing shoulders with everyone from Ronnie Wood to Taj Mahal. On Drums is the incredibly gifted Matt Weir. Matt has become the go to session drummer and North and is currently up for a Choice Music Prize as a Producer. And last but not least is the fantastic Nicky Scott. Noted for his work with Van Morrison, Mary Black, Gilbert O’Sullivan and many many more, Nick is the best bass player to ever come out of Ireland, full stop.
