Services / Projects

Our Community Hub, located in the town’s main square, will offer statutory and voluntary groups a warm and modern facility where services can be brought into the center of the town. By providing courses and activities in our Hub we believe we will contribute to an increase in self-confidence among those who participate.

Welcome to Rathfriland & District Regeneration Company

Rathfriland and District Regeneration Company have been in existence for over 30 years. During that time we have facilitated a wide range of community events.

All our projects are based on promoting equality, good relations & inclusion. We hope to bring the whole community together by providing a neutral space where people of all ages and backgrounds can meet and make connections.

Statistics show that residents in Rathfriland experience deprivation in terms of lack of access to services due to the rural nature of our location and lack of public transport.

Our Community Hub, located in the town’s main square, will offer statutory and voluntary groups a warm and modern facility where services can be brought into the center of the town. By providing courses and activities in our Hub we believe we will contribute to an increase in self-confidence among those who participate.

All of the committee members are volunteers. It is a very rewarding experience giving something back to the community. We meet formally on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm.
